Welcome to our Homepage ! HAIF has been established in 2003 when the aviation community celebrated the 100th years anniversary of the powered flight. Our private, non profit organization was founded by industry managers working for various aviation or aerospace companies and desire to promote and develop the Hungarian Aviation Industry. HAIF plays a role of a catalyst and facilitator in the industry development process while actively supporting the following project types: · Research and development · Supplier development · Quality program development · Training program development · Productivity improvement · NPI program · Offset program · Greenfield, Joint Venture, Acquisition program · Airport and Business Park development program In our website you will find useful information about the Hungarian Aerospace Companies, the Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC), the Hungarian Aeronautical Research Platform (HARP), and the Hungarian Aerospace Supplier Initiative. On the Cluster data page the three downloadable lists contain companies dealing with: design and engineering, small airplane manufacturing, rapid prototyping, tool manufacturing, aircraft and engine part manufacturing and repair, testing, large and small aircraft maintenance and overhaul, aviation consulting, and aviation training. :.Major Industry Events in 2007 24 May 2007 :: HAIF An investment and outsourcing seminar was held in Prague organized by the Hungarian Embassy and ITD Hungary on 24th of May for the Aerospace, automotive and electronics industry. Presentations were held by Czech and Hungarian officials including HAIF Chairman Mr. Hideg. Presentations 16 February 2007 :: HARP A Transportation FP7 Information day was held in Budapest at the National Office of Research and Development. The Aeronautics section of FP7 Framework Program was introduced in detail by Dr. Andras Siegler. HAIF Chairman Mr. Mihaly Hideg introduced the Hungarian Aeronautical research capabilities and proposed priorities. Presentations 28 November 2006 :: HAIF An FP7 Aeronautical Research Workshop was held in Budapest on 27th-28th of November. Download the Agenda Presentations 30 Sept 2006 :: HAC A collaboration Agreement was signed between the Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC) and the Hamburg based Hanse-Aerospace Cluster during "European Aerospace Clusters Network" workshop held in Rzeszow Poland on the 28th of September. More 18 Sept 2006 :: HAC A Collaboration Agreement was signed between the Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC) and the Aviation Valley Poland in September. 27 July 2006 :: HAC A Collaboration Agreement was signed by the Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC) and Pannon Automotive Cluster (PANAC) on the 27th of July in Budapest. The long term objective of the agreement is the creation of a diversified high-technology based vehicle industry in Hungary. 22 May 2006 :: HAIF At ILA 2006 Berlin six Hungarian companies offered their products and services. The group was led by ITD Hungary and HAIF. The newly established Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC) was introduced to the aerospace community by HAIF Chairman Mr. Mihaly Hideg for the first time. | :: A Hungarian Aerospace Research Platform Established |
By the initiative of HAIF a Hungarian Aeronautical Research Platform (HARP) has been established at the end of September 2006. The five founders are HAIF, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, KFKI Vibration Laboratory, Slot Consulting Ltd.,and Bonn Hungary Ltd.. The platform is encouraging companies, research organizations and PhD. students to apply for membership from December 2006. HARP was introduced to the aerospace community first during the FP7 Aeronautical Research Workshop held in Budapest on the 27th-28th of November 2006. Click here to download presentations |
